Every newschannel is showcasing the similar news, even the headlines of all the newspapers are same. But everyone has their own theories as they're trying to gain as much as TRP from the news. The news that has become the headline is the rumour of the King of Rajasthan getting married. Rumour because there's no proof of this news to be true as the Royal Family haven't revealed anything yet. So, till they confirm this news it will be called rumour because without proof public won't believe anything.
Many news channels are saying that the King must be getting married to a princess from another kingdom. While other channels are sure that the King is definitely getting married to a famous celebrity. However, everyone is curious to know exactly who is going to be the wife of King Shivansh Singh Rathore as well as the new Queen of Rajasthan.
There are heavy security around the palace and more than thousands bodyguards are there 24/7 to ensure that no photographs can be taken. Still that haven't stopped the reporter's to gather outside the palace to get as much as information they can collect.
Everything aside, the Rathore palace in Rajasthan is decorated with lavish decoration and why not because it's not everyday that the King will get married. Only a handful of guests are invited who are basically family relatives for the wedding. However, everyone is prohibited to share any photos, videos or any type of information about the wedding. Because after the wedding is done, the Royal Family will declare everything officially.
"I can't take off my eyes from you, Jivu beta." Aaradhya says looking at her to-be daughter-in-law with adoration.
"I agree with you Taiji. My Jivi is looking like a princess today." Ritika says while adjusting the mangtika on Jivika's forehead properly.
Today is the engagement ceremony of Shivansh and Jivika. So, everyone is getting ready for the that. The ceremony will be held in the palace because it's big enough to hold all the rituals properly.
"Am I really looking good?" Jivika asks with hesitancy clear in her tone.
"Bachcha, you're not looking good. You're looking the best." Geetanjali replies putting a bit kajal behind Jivika's ear.
And it's true that Jivika is indeed looking best because the lehenga, the hairstyle, the makeup everything is going so well with her fair complexion.
This is the first time for Jivika to put on makeup so she was hesitant at first and wasn't letting the make-up artist to do her work thinking makeup won't look good on her. But then Ritika told the assistant of the make-up artist to do her makeup and when Jivika noticed that the woman was doing well, only then she got ready to put on makeup.
Finally the ladies reach the hall where the ceremony is being held taking Jivika with them. Shivansh is already present there talking with his cousins from his mother's side. He is discussing about expanding his business to the south of India where his maternal uncle live. However, one of his cousin signals him to look back so he does and literally thank God for keeping him steady on his feet. Because his soon-to-be wife is not looking less than a princess.
"Bhaiya, at least close your mouth." Eklavya remarks from beside making Shivansh to close his mouth and suddenly he realises that his little brother just made fun of him because his mouth is not open.
"Just let this ceremony get over, Eklavya." Shivansh threatens looking at his brother who smiles sheepishly.
Aaradhya makes Jivika stands beside Shivansh just as the Kul Purohit Ji starts chanting some mantras. Jivika peeks at Shivansh and feels her face heating by the close proximity they're standing. She tries to avert her mind by concentrating on the mantras but her soon-to-be husband is looking so different today that she is not able to take off her eyes from him.
This is her first time seeing him wearing traditional clothes and it won't be a lie to say that he is truly looking like a king in the sherwani that he is wearing.
After sometime Kul Purohit Ji tells Aaradhya to bring the rings for the ceremony which she does and Purohit Ji blesses the rings. He then tells Shivansh and Jivika to exchange the ring.
Shivansh is the first one to slide the diamond ring in Jivika's right hand's ring finger and everyone starts clapping their hands showcasing their happiness. After that Jivika takes the ring and slide it into Shivansh's right hand's ring finger. The hooting, clapping only increases after both bride and groom are done with exchanging rings.
Both are requested to dance together making Jivika's eyes widen as she doesn't know how to dance. Also, she is too shy to even stand closer to her fiance, then how she can even dance. Even Shivansh is rejecting to dance but when no one is ready to listen he knows he doesn't have any other option left.
So he holds his right hand in front of Jivika who looks at him with nervousness. So, he softly nods his head as if assuring that he is here with her and that's enough for Jivika to puts her hand on his hand.
Both make their way towards the centre while everyone starts cheering for the couple. Shivansh snakes his left hand around Jivika's waist making her gasp.
"Put your right hand on my shoulder and hold my right hand with your left hand." Shivansh instructs gently knowing that Jivika doesn't have any idea about this kind of dance.
Jivika does what she is being instruct with hesitation clear in her movements. Because she's feeling nervous thinking she isn't doing things properly.
"I don't know how to dance." Jivika mumbles while she feels her body shivering in fright.
"Just follow my lead." Shivansh replies with a tiny smile on his face making Jivika to nods her head.
Soon a slow romantic song starts playing and the couple starts moving along the beats. At first Jivika finds a little difficulty to move in the heavy lehenga but Shivansh gently leads her in the dance.
Na Hai Ye Pana
Na Khona Hi Hai
Tera Na Hona Jaane
Kyun Hona Hi Hai
Tum Se Hi Din Hota Hai
Surmaiye Shaam Aati Hai
Tumse Hi Tumse Hi
Har Ghadi Saans Aati Hai
Zindagi Kehlati Hai
Tumse Hi Tumse Hi
Na Hai Yeh Pana
Na Khona Hi Hai
Tera Na Hona Jaane
Kyun Hona Hi Hai
Aankhon Mein Aankhne Teri
Bahoon Mein Baahein Teri
Mera Na Mujhe Mein Kuch Raha Hua Kya
Baaton Mein Baatein Teri
Raatein Saugatein Teri
Kyun Tera Sab Yeh Ho Gaya Hua Kya
Mein Kahin Bhi Jata Hoon
Tumse Hi Mil Jata Hoon
Tumse Hi Tumse Hi
Shoor Mein Khamoshi Hai
Thodi Si Behoshi Hai
Tum Se Hi Tum Se Hi
Aadha Sa Wada Kabhi
Aadhe Se Jayada Kabhi
Jee Chahe Karlu Is Tarah Wafa Ka
Chhode Na Chhute Kabhi
Tode Na Tute Kabhi
Jo Dhaaga Tumse Jud Gaya Wafa Ka
Mein Tera Sarmaya Hoon
Jo Bhi Mein Ban Paya Hoon
Tumse Hi Tumse Hi
Raste Mil Jate Hai
Manzile Mil Jati Hai
Tumse Hi Tumse Hi
Na Hai Ye Pana
Na Khona Hi Hai
Tera Na Hona Jaane
Kyun Hona Hi Hai
Finally the song ends and everyone clap for the newly engaged couple who smile in response. After this others start dancing on different songs while Shivansh and Jivika sit on a couch which is allocated for them.
👑
It's now midnight and everyone has gone to their respective rooms to sleep. Because tomorrow there will be mehendi ceremony and for that they have to wake up early to get ready.
But Jivika is not able to sleep because sleeping seems like a secondary thing for her right now. She is twisting and turning around in the bed as her mind is occupied with everything happening.
No matter what she can't believe that in two days she will be married to a King who is also a big name in the country. Although she doesn't know much about her fiance, but she is not dumb to realise that he is very popular and that's what making her more nervous.
A month ago she was a nobody, a simple widow who used to live in a village where she had to follow old customs. But now she is living in a palace and her life has become like a total fairy tale. From nobody to somebody, that's what she has become.
When after lot of tries she can't sleep, she decides to go to the garden where she likes to spend along time. So, she walks out of her room and then quietly makes her way towards the garden.
Upon arriving there, she sits on the swing which is available there. She has always been very fond of swings but like everything, her Dadi and Bua never let her play on the swings with other kids of her village. But now, she sits in the swing whenever she feels like and nobody stop her.
She isn't so engrossed in her thoughts that she hasn't realised that someone is walking towards her.
"What are you doing here alone at this time?" Shivansh asks making Jivika to look at him in shock because she isn't expecting anyone to be awake.
"You haven't slept yet?" Jivika asks looking down.
"First answer my question and then I will answer your question." Shivansh says sitting beside her on the swing.
"I wasn't able to sleep." Jivika answers truthfully because he is her fiance and so she shouldn't lie to him.
"Now it's your turn to answer." Jivika remarks innocently.
"I was also not able to sleep." Shivansh replies looking at the star filled sky.
For some time none of them say anything as they are deep in their own thoughts. Jivika is thinking that Shivansh must have accepted to marry her only to fulfill Dadaji's wish. While Shivansh is thinking about fulfilling every wish of Jivika because after whatever she has faced in her life, she deserves to have everything.
"Shivansh Ji..." Jivika calls out softly making Shivansh hums in response.
"I know you're only marrying me because you want to fulfill Dadaji's wish. But you don't have to worry about anything. After marriage I will never ask you for anything." Jivika says while looking at her fiance who is still looking at the sky.
"So, you still think that I am marrying you because I want to fulfill Dadaji's wish?" Shivansh asks finally looking at his fiancee who nods her head in response.
He takes her hand on his hand and look at her engagement ring which is looking ethereal in her finger. He strokes the ring for sometime without saying anything. But then he looks at Jivika who is already looking at him with confusion.
"No one can make me do anything if I don't want to do that myself." By saying this he lifts her hand near his lips leave a small kiss on the engagement ring.
