Jivika is staring at her hands which are full of mehendi and the stain is getting darker over time. Everything still feels like a dream to her as if she is in a deep sleep and when she wakes up everything will vanish. But she also knows that whatever is going on is now the truth of her life.
She is seriously getting a second chance in her life to be happy and this time with her willingness. Before her first wedding, she received very harsh beating from her Bua because she refused to get married. But this time, all she is getting is immense amount of love and support. That's why she has the glow on her face which every bride have before wedding.
Suddenly, she remembers her recent conversations with her fiance and a shy smile spread on her face. She has thought that Shivansh won't even look at her with more than a second because the marriage is happening just to fulfill Dadaji's wish. But Shivansh has changed her mind by saying that whatever he is doing is because he wants to.
She then looks at the ring situated on her finger and the small kiss that it has received from Shivansh has her blushing like crazy. She doesn't know what's the future hold for both of them. But she will try her best to be the perfect wife for a great person like Shivansh who is accepting a widow.
"Gudiya, aake so jaiye. Kal subah jaldi uthna hein." Jivika hears Bua Maa's voice who has decided to sleep with her tonight.
(Doll, come to sleep. Tomorrow you have to get up early.)
Jivika walks out of the balcony and lay down on the bed beside Geetanjali who starts to run her fingers on Jivika's head which lures her into a deep sleep easily.
👑
On the other hand, Shivansh is still sitting on his room's balcony and staring at the moon. He is thinking about how tomorrow he will enter a completely new phase of life. Although marriage wasn't never on his to-do list but he is happy to get someone like Jivika in his life.
By the age of 20 he has become the King of Rajasthan. He has to leave many of his dreams to be the perfect King for the sake of his people, not that he regrets. But deep down he has always felt alone. He has never voiced out this inner feelings to anyone thinking he doesn't need to rely on anybody. Yet, his 19 years old fiancee has the invisible power to break the walls he has built around his demeanor. Not only that, one glimpse of her is enough for him to control his anger which is not a small thing.
He doesn't have any idea about when or how he has started to like Jivika's company but he won't lie that this is not something he craves after the long hours of nonstop working. Her small smiles, her caring nature, her Innocent questions, everything about her makes him interested to learn more about her.
"What are you thinking about that you didn't even hear me calling you?" Kavyansh asks standing beside Shivansh. Today both brothers have decided to sleep together just like they used to do in their childhood.
"Sorry Bhai, I was thinking about something important." Shivansh replies looking at his brother who gives him a knowing look.
"So finally tomorrow you are getting married." Kavyansh remarks.
"Yes." Shivansh says looking at the moon again.
"How are you feeling?" Shivansh looks at his brother in confusion not understanding the reason for this sudden question.
"I am not asking about your well-being. I am asking about how you're feeling about this marriage so far." Kavyansh says.
"Frankly speaking, I wasn't very interested at the beginning but now I think it's not bad to have someone beside you all the time." Shivansh replies honestly.
"Jivika is a very nice girl and I can guarantee that she will be an excellent daughter-in-law of our family. But to become a perfect wife she will need your help. Because if you want her to be a perfect wife, you have to be a perfect husband to her. Like every coin has two sides, every relationship has two sides as well. Now it's on your hands how you will become a perfect husband for your wife." Kavyansh remarks petting his younger brother's shoulder.
Shivansh doesn't reply because he doesn't know what to reply. His brother has always had a way with words and maybe that's why he can never go against his brother's advice. But whatever Kavyansh just said has Shivansh thinking if he will be able to be a perfect husband to Jivika.
"Don't think too much. Mahadev has brought you both in each other's life so Mahadev will help you to become perfect for each other. Now, lets go and sleep. Tomorrow all of us have to wake up early." Kavyansh says walking inside the room while Shivansh follows his big brother after sometime.
👑
The next day everyone wake up early because finally the wedding day is here. Everyone is too excited for the wedding to describe their feelings through words. Even Hulk too is having a lot of fun playing with the kids running around the palace.
The makeup artist and hairstylist are already getting Jivika ready for the wedding. They have decided to keep the makeup light as they don't want to overdo anything. Because according to them the bride is naturally very beautiful and it won't be a lie to say that they haven't seen a natural beauty like to soon-to-be Queen.
Jivika is feeling all jittery inside her because of nervousness making her want to hide inside the washroom. But she can't chicken out in the last moment so she just needs to control her emotions and get ready for the wedding.
However, one thing she is missing very badly that is the presence of her mother. She has heard from her schoolmates how a mother helps her daughter to get ready for the wedding. But here she is alone again during her second wedding. Everyone is too busy with the last minute arrangements of the wedding so she is alone in her room with just makeup artist and hairstylist.
Suddenly, the door of her room gets open and Geetanjali walks inside. By seeing her, a smile appear on Jivika's face which doesn't go unnoticed by her Bua Maa.
"Aap yaha?" Jivika asks swallowing the lump forming in her throat.
("You're here?")
"Humein Bua Maa kehti hein to kaise na ate humari gudiya ko taiyaar karne?" Geetanjali replies kissing the top of Jivika's head.
("You call me Bua Maa then how can I not come to get my doll ready?")
"Are you guys done with hair and makeup?" Geetanjali asks looking at the girls present there.
"Yes, ma'am." One of them replies.
"Okay, then you go and have some food. I will help her in wearing jewelries and the veil." Geetanjali says politely.
After the girls leave, Geetanjali starts helping Jivika in wearing the wedding jewelries. Jivika is already wearing the suhagan chuda so now she is going to wear other jewelries which are given by her Bua Maa.
Finally, after half an hour Jivika is completely ready with a veil attached to her head. But this time this veil isn't for covering her face from everyone like she used to do in her village. This veil is to enhance her glowing face which doesn't need to be hidden from anyone.
Geetanjali keeps admiring Jivika like she can't believe her eyes. Soon, Ritika and Radhika reaches walks inside the room both gasps seeing Jivika in the bridal attire.
"Jiviiiii! You're looking sooooo beautiful." Ritika exclaims excitedly while her eyes get filled with tears seeing her bestie.
"Thank you, Riti." Jivika replies shyly while Radhika walks in front of her and then puts kajal behind her ear to save her from evil stares.
"Jivu, you're glowing bachcha." Radhika comments feeling happy to see her soon-to-be daughter-in-law.
"Thank you, Chachi." Jivika says feeling overwhelmed getting so many compliments.
"Geetanjali, we need to take Jivika to the mandap. Kul Purohit Ji is asking for her." Radhika tells in which Geetanjali nods her head in response.
Soon, the ladies walks out of the room and make their way outside where the wedding is going to take place. Shivansh is already present there performing some rituals.
Today Shivansh is looking like a true King because of the attire he is wearing. But his full attention is on his to-be wife who is walking near the mandap cladded in red lehenga, royal jewelries. However, what's making her more beautiful is the shy smile on her face.
Geetanjali makes Jivika sit beside Shivansh and soon the next rituals of the wedding starts. Kul Purohit Ji along with some other priests starts chanting holy mantras proceeding the ceremony.
Soon the time comes to do Kanyadaan and Purohit Ji asks for Jivika's father to come for the ritual. Hearing this Jivika gets sad thinking she doesn't have her father to do this ritual. But suddenly Adwait walks into the mandap surprising everyone.
"She doesn't have her father with her but I am her big brother and I will be doing the Kanyadaan." Adwait tells Purohit Ji who nods his head in response.
While on the other hand, Jivika keeps looking at Adwait with an unknown emotion as she can't describe how she is feeling right now. She knows that Adwait has called her his sister, he has also bought the wedding lehenga. But performing Kanyadaan, it's not a simple thing to do without a having a deep connection.
As if feeling what's going inside Jivika's head, Shivansh holds her hand and squeeze it gently making her relaxed.
After doing the Kanyadaan, Adwait looks at Shivansh with a serious expression which is a new thing for Shivansh's to experience.
"Keep my sister happy or I will not let you be happy." Shivansh blinks his eyes not hearing his best friend's words because this is the first time Adwait is threatening him.
"Okay." That's all Shivansh can utter because he is still kind of shocked.
Purohit Ji then asks the couple to get up for the pheras. Ritika does the gathbandhan ritual by tieing the end of Jivika's dupatta along with the end of Shivansh's shawl. For the first four pheras Shivansh walks ahead around the holy fire. While for the last three pheras Jivika takes the lead.
After the pheras are done, Purohit Ji forwards a container of sindoor towards Shivansh who takes a pinch of sindoor between his fingers and fill the hairline of Jivika to which unknowingly a tear slides out if Jivika's eyes. While filling the hairline, a little bit of sindoor falls on Jivika's nose which makes many comments that she will be very loved by her husband.
Aaradhya then forward a box towards Shivansh which contains the mangalsutra. Shivansh takes the mangalsutra in his hands and ties it properly around Jivika's neck.
"Bibah sampann hua." Purohit Ji declares making everyone clap their hands happily.
(The wedding is done)
Shivansh and Jivika then gets up from their place as per Purohit Ji's instructions. Then they walk towards Raghuvendra who is looking proudly at them. They benda down to take his blessing but he stops Jivika to touch his feet.
"Humari ghar ki bahu ko hum beti mante hein aur humari ghar ki betiyan kabhi pair nahi chhuti. Ghar ki Lakshmi ko mathe pe rakha jata hein naki pairo par." Raghuvendra tells Jivika who looks at him with moist eyes.
(We consider the daughter-in-law of our house as our daughter and the daughters of our house never touch our feet. The Lakshmi of the house is placed on the head, not on the feet.)
After that they take blessings from everyone but like Raghuvendra says, Jivika doesn't bend down to touch anyone's feet. Instead she just bends her head a little and joints her palms together to take blessings.
When they reach near Adwait, Jivika is not able to control her tears anymore. She starts crying not able to describe her feelings in words. But Adwait doesn't need any words to understand her, he simply gives her brotherly hug while murmuring comforting words in her ears.
If it has been some different times Shivansh surely has a fit of anger seeing his newly wedded wife in another man's arms. But he knows he doesn't need to worry about Adwait because he can clearly see how much Jivika means to his best friend.
"Enough with this crying. Let's go and have some food." Geetanjali says trying to change the emotional atmosphere and it works because the brother-sister duo nods their heads in response.
