The chirping of birds wakes up Jivika who tries to get up but feels like something is holding her in the waist. But then she notices that it's her husband who has his hand wrapped around her waist while she is holding on his biceps. She gulps seeing their position and immediately her face heats up thinking about last night. She can't forget how her husband caressed her head till she fell asleep.
Very carefully she frees herself from Shivansh's hold and puts a pillow in her place. She then walks inside the closet to select a perfect outfit for today and after looking at the sarees she settles on a red and pink contrast saree. Today is going to be her first day as the daughter-in-law of the family so she wants to wear a saree. Also, she likes to wear sarees a lot from the time she has learnt how to drap sarees.
After selecting everything she makes her way to the washroom and takes off her previous night's clothes. She then starts the shower and applies shampoo on her hair, rub body gel on her skin gently. After she rinses off all the foams properly with the help of water before starts drying her hair and body with a fluffy towel. Then she brushes her teeth and clean her mouth before looking at the mirror with a smile. For some reason, she is feeling very happy and it can be seen on her smiling face. It seems smile isn't going to leave her face soon.
She then quickly walks back to the closet and starts getting ready wearing the saree perfectly. She then takes the selected necklace set along with her and walks out of the closet. She looks at the bed to see that her husband is sitting leaning against the headboard. So, she clears her throat to gain his attention.
"Oh, you're done-" Shivansh stops talking in the mid-sentence looking at Jivika who is standing in front of him wearing a saree with wet open hair. He gulps not able to continue what he was going to say.
"Umm, aap naha lijiye. Main tab tak ready ho jaati hoon." Jivika says softly and in response Shivansh can simply nods his head.
(Umm, you take shower. Till then I will get ready.)
When Shivansh walks into the washroom, Jivika stands in front of the vanity and starts towel drying her hair because she doesn't like to use the dryer. Although Ritika has taught her how to use dryer, straightener and curler but still she likes her natural weavy hair. Also these past few days she has to use these hairstyle machines so now she wants her hair to be free of any products.
Twenty minutes later she is fully ready but just needs to put sindoor on her hair partition. Just as she takes the small box of sindoor in her hand the door of the closet open and Shivansh walks out wearing a blue sherwani looking as handsome as ever.
Jivika opens the lid of the box and takes a pinch of sindoor between her fingers. She then applies it in her hairline while Shivansh keeps staring at her through the mirror.
He has always find her beautiful but her wearing a saree is something out of his imagination. He badly wants to compliment her for looking so gorgeous but no word seem is leaving past his lips.
"I am ready." Jivika says excitedly turning around to face her husband but then feels shy seeing how her husband is looking at her without even blinking his eyes.
"Shivansh Ji, chalein?" Jivika asks not making eye contact with her husband who finally blinks his eyes.
(Shivansh Ji, shall we leave?)
"Sorry, hum kuch soch rahe the. Haa chaliye chalte hain." Shivansh replies smiling softly at Jivika who smiles back.
(Sorry, I was thinking of something. Yes, let's go.)
Both of them leave their room together and soon reach the temple which is in downstairs. All the family members are already present there and upon seeing the newlyweds, everyone feel happy.
"Yeh dono to bilkul Shiv-Parvati lag rahe hain." Raghuvendra comments while others agree with him.
(These two are looking exactly like Shiv-Parvati)
"Jivika, aap yaha aiye aur Mahadev ki aarti kijiye." Aaradhya says looking at her daughter-in-law with a encouraging smile.
(Jivika, you come here and do aarti of Mahadev.)
"Humein to nayi bahu se bhajan bhi sunna hain." One of their relatives says making Jivika worried. It's not like she doesn't know any bhajan but it's been long since she has sung anything.
(We want to hear a bhajan from new daughter-in-law.)
Shivansh can feel the nervousness of his wife so he takes the plate of aarti from his mother and hands it to his wife who looks at him with hesitation. He just nods his head in response and that's all the support Jivika needs.
Jivika takes the aarti plate in her hands and starts singing a bhajan of Mahadev while doing the morning aarti.

Everyone feel like their ears are blessed to hear such devine bhajan in the morning in the melodious voice of Jivika. Some of the relatives who doubted the decision of making her the daughter-in-law of the Rathore's now feeling guilty. Because she has proved herself of how worthy she is.
"Waah, man ko shanti mil gayi itni mithi awaz me bhajan sunkar." Raghvendra praises looking at his granddaughter-in-law with adoration.
(Wow, heart feels peaceful after listening to the bhajan in such a sweet voice.)
Jivika smiles at her grandfather-in-law and then moves towards everyone with the aarti plate in her hands so that everyone can take the blessings from the aarti. But when she stops in front of her father-in-law, he takes blessings from the aarti and then puts his hands on top of her head giving the blessing to her first before doing the same thing with himself.
Jivika's eyes gets moist but she blinks her eyes to control her tears. She just smiles at her father-in-law and lastly stands in front of her husband who takes the blessing without saying anything.
"Jivu, let's go to the kitchen. You have to make something sweet for everyone." Radhika says making Jivika nods her head already knowing about this ritual.
👑
Everyone is already present in the dining table for breakfast and having food made by the head cook. However, everyone is waiting to taste the dessert made by Jivika who is looking nervous. Although it's not her first time cooking still she is feeling hesitant if the Kheer that she has cooked will taste good or not.
"Now, you can serve the Kheer." Aaradhya says handling the small pot of kheer to Jivika who nods her head in response.
She starts serving Kheer to everyone in their plates but when she reaches near Shivansh, Eklavya calls out to her.
"Bhabhi, Shivansh Bhaiya doesn't eat sweets." Jivika's mood dampens hearing Eklavya's words.
"Serve me a little." Shivansh says not liking the sad face of his wife.
Everyone including Jivika gets because everyone knows it's not easy to make Shivansh do something which he dislike. Then Jivika remembers what her husband said on the night of their engagement that he never does something he doesn't want to do. She feels happy understanding how thoughtful her husband is and serves him a little bit of Kheer.
Shivansh picks the kheer with a spoon and tastes it. Surprisingly, he likes the taste because it seems it doesn't taste like the usual kheer but at the same time it tastes like kheer. So, he is quite confused but decides to ask Jivika about it later.
"How was the Kheer, Bhaiya?" Ritika asks Shivansh with a teasing tone.
"It's good." Shivansh replies blankly already knowing his sister is going to pull his legs.
"Only good or very good?" Eklavya asks trying to be brave.
"Very good." Shivansh replies while looking at Jivika who is looking at her plate with a shy smile.
"Wow, finally the great King Shivansh Singh Rathore liked something sweet." Ritika exclaims dramatically while others shake their heads while controlling their laughs.
"Jivika, the Kheer is really tasty." Aaradhya compliments.
"Thank you, Taiji." Jivika replies happily but then frown seeing the disappointed look on her mother-in-law's face.
"What happened?" Jivika asks thinking she may have done something bad.
"Jivu, now you're my daughter-in-law which means I am your mother-in-law. Then why are you still calling me Taiji? Call me Maa like Shivansh does or I will not talk to you anymore." Aaradhya replies making Jivika's eyes widen because she thought her mother-in-law won't like it if she calls her Maa as her first mother-in-law used to hate being called Maa by her.
"You really want me to call you that?" Jivika asks with a trembling voice because this will be her first time to call someone Maa.
"Of course, beta. You're my daughter from now and it's your right to call me Maa." Aaradhya answers smiling brightly at Jivika.
"Not only that, from now on you'll have to call me Papa." Pratap says making Jivika to starts crying.
"Bachcha, why are you crying?" Geetanjali asks worriedly.
"Nothing Bua Maa. I am just too happy to control my emotions." Jivika replies wiping her tears while everyone smile at her honest reply.
After the breakfast ends everyone give many gifts to Jivika for her Pehli Rasoi ritual. However, Shivansh doesn't give anything to her but it doesn't affect her because she already has everything. Also, she is happy that at least her husband has tasted the Kheer she made for the ritual.
