The idea of getting ready for someone is so romantic and admirable at the same time. We want to look best for the person whom we love. We want them to tell us how good we are looking. We want them to praise us for the efforts we have put into. We want them to love us for our simplicity.
Jivika is doing the same for her dinner date with Shivansh. She wants to look her best so that her Shiv can't take off his eyes from her. It's not like Shivansh doesn't like whatever Jivika wears but still it's not bad wanting to be praised for your look.
"Now you're completely ready." Ritika says putting the brush down on the vanity while Jivika looks at herself through the mirror.
She has worn a black salwar suit. This is the first time for her to wear this colour and it's making her look ethereal as the colour is going so well with her milky skin. At first she wasn't quite sure about wearing the black salwar suit as a newly married woman but then Ritika made her understand that it's alright to wear any colour after marriage. It's not like they are going to a temple, so it doesn't matter much.
"Main achchi to lag rahi hu na, Riti?" Jivika asks for the fifth time while Ritika shakes her head in response this time making Jivika worried.
(Am I looking good, Riti?)
"No, you are not looking good at all. You are looking like you are gonna faint any second." Ritika says and holds a glass of water in front of Jivika who is now looking totally confused.
"Stop looking at me and drink water." Ritika orders to which Jivika pouts but still takes the glass and gulps down the water quickly.
"Now listen to me. You're looking very pretty that I can bet my big brother won't be able to control himself from jumping on you." Ritika says holding Jivika on the shoulders who looks more confused.
"Why will he jump on me?" Jivika asks innocently while Ritika hits herself on the forehead muttering some incoherent words under her breath.
"You should ask this question to Shivansh Bhaiya. Because I can assure you that he will give you the perfect answer." Ritika replies smiling mischievously.
"Okay then this is the first thing I will ask him." Jivika says getting up from the chair she has been sitting in for one hour as Ritika decided to curl her long hair before doing a ponytail hairstyle.
"No, no! Not the first thing. You should ask him when you guys will start having dinner. That will be the perfect time for sure." Ritika quickly replies.
"Why is that?" Jivika asks putting her phone and other necessary things inside her clutch.
"Because you always talk whenever you eat food with Bhaiya and he solves all your queries." Ritika answers very smoothly. What can anyone expect from a tremendous advocate like her? She has her way of twisting words in her favor but with her bestie, she is just having fun.
"Hmm, you are correct." Jivika replies nodding her head while Ritika chuckles inwardly just thinking about Shivansh's expression when her bestie asks the question.
After some time a maid comes there to inform Jivika that Shivansh is waiting for her downstairs. Ritika pats Jivika on the shoulder gently before ushering her outside the room.
There is no one in the palace except Raghuvendra who is in his room resting and Ritika who has gone back to her room. Shivansh wanted to go to his room to get his wife but suddenly he has got an important call so he is busy talking in the phone. Surprisingly he is wearing a black suit too which he has changed in the room attached to his cabin.
Jivika walks down the stairs and when the clicking sound of her heels reaches Shivansh's ears he swiftly turns around while the phone from his hand is about to drop on the floor. But he catches the phone yet he isn't able to move his eyes from the view in front of him.
He looks at his wife who is now walking toward him with a soft smile dancing on her lips. But the thing that is making him go Gaga over her is the outfit she is wearing. He has never thought that black will look so great on his Rani Sahiba. He is having a hard time controlling himself from not to cancel their date and lock his Rani Sahiba in their room. So that he can have his way with her to his heart content. But he can't just cancel the date because he has planned something big for tonight.
"What happened?" Jivika askd waving her hand in front of Shivansh who blinks his eyes sometimes finally getting into the reality.
"Did you ask something?" Shivansh asks making Jivika to roll her eyes.
"No, I haven't said anything." Jivika answers walking toward the entrance door of the palace. But Shivansh holds the end of her dupatta which tugs her on the neck slightly making her turn around instantly.
"Now what happened, Shiv?" Jivika asks frowning a little.
"You are looking beautiful, Rani Sahiba." Shivansh says while Jivika looks at him with a shy smile.
"Really?" Jivika asks fidgeting with her fingers.
"Yes, really." Shivansh replies while bending down a little before softly kissing Jivika on the lips whose eyes widen. She pushes him a little which makes him confused.
"You can't just kiss me like this, Shiv. What if someone see us?" Jivika complaints glaring at her husband who shrugs his shoulders in response.
"So what? I am just kissing my legally wedded wife so I don't care if anyone see us." Shivansh replies getting a smack on his bicep.
"You're being too shameless." Jivika whines while stomping her feet on the floor.
"I am not being shameless, Rani Sahiba. I am being a romantic husband." Shivansh remarks while linking his fingers with Jivika and then leaves the palace.
They get inside the car with Jivika in the front seat and Shivansh in the driving seat. The bodyguards are following their car from far behind because Shivansh doesn't want to risk his wife's safety at any cost. He is fully capable of keeping her safe but you never know what the future has planned for us. So, it's better to be extra careful.
"Shiv, car rokiye." Jivika says out of nowhere.
(Shiv, stop the car.)
"Kyun kya hua achanak se?" Shivansh asks looking at his wife who is looking outside the window of the car. Still, he stops the car as per her order.
(What happened suddenly?)
"Woh dekhiye Panipuri, mujhe khaane hain." Jivika says pointing her finger at the vendor selling one of the famous street food of India that is Panipuri.
(Look there, I want to eat Panipuri.)
"Thik hain hum le aate hain." Shivansh replies but Jivika shakes her head.
(Okay I am going to get them.)
"Arey nahi ruko aap." Jivika says holding Shivansh's hand.
(Oh no you wait.)
"Ab kya hua?" Shivansh asks getting perplexed.
(Now what happened?)
"Panipuri to thele wale ke paas khade hokar khana hota hain. Yaha car mein bethkar maza nahi ayega." Jivika replies excitedly while Shivansh shakes his head seeing the way simple things make his wife so happy.
(Panipuri has to be eaten standing near the cart vendor. It won't be fun sitting here in the car.)
"Thik hain to chaliye waha khade hokar hi khaate hain." Shivansh says making Jivika to nod her head eagerly.
(Okay so let's go and have it standing there.)
Shivansh comes out of the car first and then opens the door for Jivika who comes out with a big smile on her face. It's been so long for her to eat Panipuri that her taste buds are already dancing without even tasting them.
There are not many customers near the cart. But as soon as Shivansh and Jivika arrive there, the vendor along with a few customers is shocked to see their Rana Sa and Rani Sa.
"Khamma Ghani, Rana Sa." The vendor says looking at Shivansh.
"Khamma Ghani, Rani Sa." The vendor then says to Jivika.
"Ghani Khamma, Kaka." Jivika replies smiling at the older man. Meanwhile, Shivansh just nods his head in response as he doesn't like to talk much with anyone besides family members.
"Kaka, make spicy Panipuri for us." Jivika remarks excitedly.
"Rana Sa, you will eat from here too?" The vendor asks looking at the King with surprised.
"Yes, he will eat." Jivika replies before Shivansh can say anything narrowing her eyes at him as if challanging him to deny her order.
"Yes, I will eat." Shivansh says with a defeated sigh while Jivika pats him in the cheek making others amused seeing their strong-headed Rana Sa to be so obedient toward his wife.
After that the vendor starts serving Panipuri to Shivansh and Jivika who eat a decent amount of the street food. But it's Jivika who has eaten more than Shivansh as she can't stop herself from enjoying the spicy food.
Shivansh pays for the Panipuri although the vendor refused to take any money. But Jivika tells him that he is earning not only for himself but for his family too. So, he shouldn't give free treats to anyone even if they are someone VIP.
"Now that you have eaten so many Panipuri, how will you eat dinner?" Shivansh asks while driving the car.
"I have a lot of space in my tummy fir dinner." Jivika replies with a cheeky smile on her face.
👑
20 minutes later Shivansh stops the car in front of a restaurant. He opens Jivika's side of the door before giving her his hand to come out of the car.
Jivika looks at the building in front of her gets mesmerized with the surrounding as well. She then starts walking beside Shivansh who is still holding her hand.
The manager welcomes them and directly take them in the roof which is decorated wonderfully. Not only that there are no one to disturb the couple.
"Why is it so empty, Shiv?" Jivika asks after the manager leave from there.
"Because I have booked the whole rooftop area only for us." Shivansh replies making Jivika to shake her head.
"What was the need for you to do that?" Jivika asks frowning a little.
"Because I wanted to spend time with you absolutely alone. I didn't want anyone to disturb us with their conversation." Shivansh replies kissing the back of Jivika's hand who is sitting across from him.
"Okay, fine I understand. But can I ask you something important? I should have asked this before but I totally forgot." Jivika says while Shivansh nods his head in response.
"Are you thinking about jumping on me after seeing me in this outfit?" Jivika asks looking serious while Shivansh starts coughing loudly and his eyes become teary.
"What happened, Shiv? Here drink the water." Jivika exclaims worriedly while giving water to her husband who is freaking out hearing her question from earlier.
He takes the glass and chugs down the water in a go while controlling his breathing. He can't believe that his Innocent wife can ask such things in so straightforward way.
"Why did you ask such question, Rani Sahiba? I mean so suddenly." Shivansh asks wiping his face with the tissue available on the table.
"Riti told me to ask you. Actually, I was worried if you would like the outfit or not so she told me that you would want to jump on me seeing me in this outfit. I asked her why but she told me that you would answer me." Jivika answers while Shivansh curses under his breath and promises to give an earful to his sister for trying to ruin his wife's innocence. It's only his right to break her out of her innocent zone.
"Rani Sahiba, you shouldn't worry about how I will feel about your outfit. You look beautiful in whatever you wear." Shivansh assures her.
"But I still want to look beautiful for you." Jivika remarks with a pout.
"Okay you win and I lost, happy?" Shivansh asks.
"Very much happy." Jivika replies with a big smile.
"By the way, what's the sudden need for this dinner date?" Jivika asks the question that is going on in her mind.
"Can't I take my wife on a date?" Shivansh asks.
"Yes, you can take. But it was so sudden, I mean you didn't say anything in the morning." Jivika replies while Shivansh interlocks their fingers together.
"I wanted to surprise you by bringing you here but then I thought that I should tell you. Because I remembered you saying that you'll try to make pizza tonight for dinner. I didn't want to waste your hardwork so I decided to inform you." Shivansh says making Jivika to feel lucky to have such a thoughtful husband.
"You're the best indeed, Shiv." Jivika says meanwhile Shivansh is busy wondering what if his Rani Sahiba rejects whatever he has decided to do tonight.
