In the Rathore palace everyone is in deep shock except Shivansh as he is the one to inform everyone about the sudden departure of Kavyansh to Kolkata. But they are not shocked because of that, they're shocked to learn that the person whom Kavyansh loves, is still alive. Six years ago when Kavyansh completely changed, everyone got worried not knowing the reason behind it. So, Shivansh only told them that the person whom Kavyansh loved had died in a plane crash. So, they shouldn't talk about this matter in front of Kavyansh or he could get triggered.

Shivansh may be the youngest among the two brothers, but he has taken care of Kavyansh in the most vulnerable time of his life. Maybe that's why they share such great bond between them where they are each other's saviour.

"Bhaiya, why didn't you inform me about this matter before?" Ritika asks Shivansh making him sigh. Because Ritika is not just the Princess of the family, she is also one of the best advocate in the country too who is known for her connoisseur mind.

"Princess, your final exams were going on that time and you weren't involved in these things. So, Adwait and I used all our sources to find out whether the girl was alive or not. But the same thing kept coming out again and again that she was not alive." Shivansh replies rubbing his face feeling worried about his older brother.

"But how come after so many years Adwait suddenly got to know about the girl being alive?" Pratap asks Shivansh out of curiosity.

"As you all know that Adwait went to Kolkata for an important meeting. So, he was in the reception area of the Kolkata Medical College along with the Dean who was showing him around and suddenly a nurse drop some files on the floor. Adwait went to help her and that's when he noticed the name Varenya Mukherjee on one of the envelope. He decided to look into the matter and requested the Dean to help him get the needed information about the person. Thankfully, the Dean didn't reject and gave him the report where the age along with the address of the person was written as well. But still, Adwait confirmed the information by his private investigator before sharing the information with me. Just as he sent me the photo of the report where a passport size photo of the patient was attached as well, Bhai arrived there and took my phone from me while he kept looking at the photograph." Shivansh answers while others can just imagine the pain and relief Kavyansh must have felt after these many years.

"My son has suffered a lot. I just don't want him to suffer anymore." Aaradhya says wiping her tears remembering the numerous times she has found Kavyansh crying in his sleep. She has never mentioned this in front of him in hope that one day he will tell her everything by himself. But now, she just hopes that her son gets back what he has been longing for.

"We shouldn't worry so much. We have brought Ganpati Bappa home this year and Ganpati Bappa is the destroyer of obstacles. So, I am sure that Bappa will make everything perfect for Kavyansh Bhaiya as well." Jivika, wife of Shivansh and the Rani Sa of Rajasthan says while others nod their heads in response.

Kavyansh keeps walking towards Varenya who is playing the game of chasing with some kids. Kavyansh is sure that his Lotus will jump on his arms as soon as she notices him because that's what she used to do. But his hearts break as soon as his dark brown eyes collide with his Lotus's light brown eyes which gets widen in fear. The eyes which used to look at him with love and happiness are now staring at him with only immense fear in them.

Kavyansh is taken aback by the raw fear in Varenya's eyes along with the tears that are flowing down her face. Because he has never seen her this much scare. However, before he can even say anything she falls on her knees while putting her hands over her ears as if trying to block any sounds to reach her. Her body is also trembling badly so Kavyansh goes to touch her but that only makes her cries loudly while the kids around them looks worried.

"Who are you?" One of the kids asks.

"Why are you disturbing our Anu Didi?" Another kids asks.

But it seems Kavyansh doesn't even paying any attention to them. Because all of his focus is on the trembling girk in front of him. He wants to pick her in his arms and hide her from everything that's troubling her. But seeing her condition, it seems currently he is the one who is the reason behind her sudden change of demeanor.

"Anu!" Suddenly a voice calls out from the varanda making Varenya to jerk her head to the side to see that her Mamoni is calling out to her. So, she quickly gets up and runs in the arms of her Mamoni who hugs her tightly while cooing softly in her ears making her calm.

"Kids, your Anu Didi is not feeling well. Also, it's raining so you should go back to your houses or your mothers will not let you come back here to play with your Didi." Meghna Roy, Varenya's aunt tells the kids who nod their heads and walks away from there but not before glaring at Kavyansh for scaring their beloved Anu Didi.

"Anu, why don't you go and get change into something warm? Till then I will talk to the stranger and scold them for scaring you, okay?" Meghna asks Varenya in a gentle tone while kissing her in the forehead.

Instead of replying, Varenya timidly nods her head looking at her Mamoni and then takes a small glimpse of Kavyansh who is still standing under the rain. Varenya sticks out her tongue at him and runs inside the small house.

Meghna then looks at the man standing in the rain not knowing what she should do. She has never seen him before but something is telling her that the man isn't here with any bad intentions. She then notices another man walking inside the gate holding an umbrella and soon enough he stands beside the other man.

"Who are you both?" Meghna asks politely looking at Kavyansh and Adwait.

"We are here to meet Miss Varenya Mukherjee." Adwait replies when he notices that Kavyansh isn't saying anything.

Meghna looks hesitate to let the unknown men come inside the house. But it's raining very badly. So, she can't let them drench and also she believes that they're not bad people.

"Please, come inside. We can talk later." Meghna says while Adwait nudges Kavyansh in the arm.

The relief and happiness that Kavyansh has been feeling has washed away by the realisation that his Varenya may have forgotten about him and that's why she looked so scared seeing him as if she is seeing some unknown person. But he won't back out after finding her. He will learn everything that has happened in the last few years.

Kavyansh and Adwait follows the Meghna inside the house. The first room is the drawing room/living room, so they sit on the small couch which is covered with transparent plastic wrap.

"Just wait for a minute. I will get you towels to dry your hair or you may catch cold." Meghna says with a small smile before walking away from there.

"My Varenya doesn't remember me, Adwait. She looks at me like I am some stranger." Kavyansh lets out wiping his tears.

"Bhaiya, we don't know what happened after the plane crash. So, don't make any assumption without learning everything." Adwait replies softly feeling bad for Kavyansh.

Just then Meghna walks there holding two towels and gives them to the men. She closes the door connecting to the room where Varenya stays not wanting the poor girl to walk in the living room and get scared seeing the men there.

"What happened to Varenya?" Kavyansh asks the first thing after Meghna sits across from them in a chair.

"Nothing happened to her. She is perfectly alright. But I am not understanding who are you to ask this question? I mean I have never seen you before." Meghna replies.

"Varenya Mukherjee is my fiancee." Kavyansh says making Meghna's eyes widen because she doesn't have any idea about it.

"What are you talking about? See, I think you got some wrong information. My daughter isn't engaged to anyone." Meghna exclaims with worry while Kavyansh shakes his head.

"I am not wrong because I can never make mistake in recognizing her. She is Varenya Mukherjee, the junior resident doctor studying in the Banaras Hindu University." Kavyansh remarks glaring at the woman because his patience is getting out of hand. When he has finally found his Lotus, this woman here is saying that his Lotus is someone else.

Meghna flinches a little because the man in front of her don't look like an ordinary man. He looks like he is full of power. Also, the thing that he just said about Varenya isn't wrong either.

"I understand if you don't want to share anything with us because we're practically strangers for you. But believe me, we are not lying. He is Kavyansh Singh Rathore, the elder prince of the Rajput clan of Rajasthan and also has his own publishing company. He has been in a relationship with Varenya from their college days and they wanted to get married too. But then he got to know that Varenya had died in a plane crash where she was coming to Rajasthan to meet his family. I hope now that I have told you everything you won't hesitate to let us know wht exactly happened in the last six years. Please, I am requesting you to tell us everything." Adwait tells Meghna understanding the turmoil going inside Kavyansh who doesn't lose his cool so easily.

Meghna looks like she is still not convinced by the way she is looking here and there. So, Kavyansh folds his palms in front of her and bows his head shocking Meghna as well as Adwait too.

"Please, ma'am. Tell me everything that happened. I have been living a soulless life because I thought that Varenya is dead. But now seeing her again, I have got a little hope of living again. Please don't hide anything from me." Kavyansh pleads while his eyes become teary which makes Meghna understands that the man in front of her is definitely not lying. Because his face is telling the pain he has been going through.

"Varenya didn't die in the plane crash that day. She got out of the plane before it could board because I called her to inform about the huge fire in the house. I had been living with her family for a long time as their maid. So, I had become like a family member to them. I was in the market that time when a huge fire erupted in the house. One of the neighbours called me to inform about it as Varenya's parents were stuck inside the house. However, when I reached there the house was fully engulfed in fire that even the fire brigade couldn't stop the fire fast. Just then Varenya arrived there and tried to go inside the house to save her parents. But I hold her back because there was no way that her parents were alive anymore. She cried and screamed for her parents but everything was in vein. Out of shock, she fainted in my arms. I took her to the hospital where the doctor did some check up and decided to keep her there for observation as she didn't gain consciousness. I went back to the house but everything had ended in the fire. Even the dead bodies of her parents could not be taken out from there. I didn't have anyone beside them. So, I decided to take care of Varenya because at that time she was my only priority." Meghna narrates the horrifying incident that change many things.

"What happened after that?" Adwait asks because Kavyansh is still processing how much his Lotus has suffered alone.

"Varenya regained her senses after a few days. But the shocking thing was that, she started behave like a little kid. She started asking for her Maa and Baba while talking like a kid. The doctor did some test and they realised that Varenya's mind had become like a small kid's brain. She didn't remember anything other than her parents and that happened because of the shock of seeing her parents dying in front of her eyes. I was too shocked to understand what I should do with her because as a maid and a widow I didn't have any resources. Also, as per my knowledge Varenya's parents didn't have many relatives who could help the poor girl. But thankfully, the doctor was a good lady who used to be Varenya's father's colleague. She gave me some money to survive and this house so that I could live with Varenya in a secluded area for her well-being as she get scared of unknown person or loud sounds." By the time Meghna is done telling everything, Kavyansh has already break down in tears holding his head. He has been thinking that he has suffered the most in the last six years. But in reality, his suffering is nothing in front of what Varenya has gone through or is going through.

The girl who was so passionate about studying and wanted to become a gynecologist to help poor women who couldn't afford good gynecologist during their pregnancy, has now become a kid mentally. The girl who used to have an extrovert personality, has now turned into a kid who gets scared seeing unknown person. But the thing that's breaking his heart more is that she doesn't remember him or any moment spending with him. He has become a total stranger for her who once used to be each other's strength.

The tense atmosphere breaks when they hear a few knocks on the door of Varenya's room. Meghna quickly wipes her tears knowing Varenya doesn't like when her Mamoni cries. Kavyansh too wipes his tears with the back of his hands while Adwait clears his throat to get rid of the tears he has been holding back.

"Mamoni!" Varenya calls out from the other side of the door while Kavyansh's heart skips a beat hearing the voice of his Lotus after so long.

Meghna gets up from the chair and opens the door making Varenya to look at her with a pout present on her lips.

"Varu's tum-tum is hungry, Mamoni." Varenya says petting her stomach while unknowingly a small smile appears on Kavyansh's face seeing the cute scene unfolding in front of him.

"Awe, my shona is hungry. No problem, baby. I will quickly make Aloo Kabli Chaat for you. But before that, come here and meet the guests." Meghna replies smiling at Varenya who shakes her head quickly.

"Anu, nothing will happen. They are really good people." Meghna says wrapping her hand around Varenya's shoulder.

"Varu is scared, Mamoni. Varu doesn't know them." Varenya remarks in a fearful tone trying to get out of Meghna's gentle hold.

"Kavyansh Bhaiya, do you want the big chocolate that I have inside my pocket?" Adwait asks loudly looking at Kavyansh so that Varenya can hear and his tricks work because as soon as Varenya hears the word 'chocolate', she rushes towards where Adwait and Kavyansh is sitting.

"You really have big chocolate, Mister?" Varenya asks excitedly while fumbling with her fingers.

"Yes, I have. Do you want that?" Adwait asks smiling softly while Varenya quickly nods her head before showing her palm.

"But before that, you have to sit there like a good girl without getting scared." Adwait says making Varenya to frown because she doesn't want to stay there. But she doesn't want to lose the chocolate too because her. So, she quietly sits on the chair where Meghna was sitting before with a huff making her cheeks looks like pufferfish.

"Bhaiya, talk with her." Adwait whispers in Kavyansh's ear who has been looking at Varenya without blinking his eyes since she has come out of her room.

Hearing Adwait's words, Kavyansh nods his head knowing that this is a great opportunity for him to interact with Varenya. He then looks at his Lotus who is sitting on the chair looking extremely unhappy and now pouting her lips to show the frustration inside her.

"Varenya..." Kavyansh calls out softly making her looks at him with the pout still prominent on her lips.

"What?" Varenya asks in a dull tone.

"Are you feeling scared?" Kavyansh asks very gently as if he is talking to a small kid making Varenya to shake her head st first but then she nods her head slowly.

"Why?" Kavyansh asks although he knows the reason.

"Varu doesn't like new person. This Uncle lied saying that he would give Varu chocolate. But now, he isn't giving Varu any." Varenya complaints pointing her finger Adwait whose eyes widen while Kavyansh clears his throat to stop himself from laughing.

"Hey! I am not your uncle. My name is Adwait so call me with my name." Adwait remarks looking offended that a person who is same age as his is calling him uncle.

"But you look like an uncle." Varenya says tilting her head to the side and this time Kavyansh can't help the chuckles that leaves his lips while Adwait feels like pulling out his hair in frustration.
