"Everything seems normal from outside but I am sure something must have triggered her mind for her to get unconscious. I know you have appointed the best psychologist and Psychiatrist for her. So, you should consult them immediately." The family doctor tells Kavyansh after she is done checking Varenya.

"So you mean to say that she can gain consciousness anytime soon?" Kavyansh asks.

"Hopefully yes because her BP and heartbeat is showing pretty normal. By the way, does anybody have any idea exactly what happened before she fainted?" The doctor asks looking at the family members present in the room.

"Varu was alone with Mishti, Hulk and Shardul when I left the room." Kiyansh replies looking worried.

"Is she scared of dogs?" The doctor asks.

"No, she is not." Meghna replies immediately and Kavyansh can feel an urgency in her tone which doesn't settle down well with him.

"And what if she is?" Kavyansh asks staring at Meghna sharply which makes her gulp.

"How can she be scared of dogs? She loves Mishti." Meghna replies while Kavyansh just nods his head in response but he looks at Shivansh to see that Shivansh is too staring at Meghna with a blank look on his face.

"Tai loves Mishti but it doesn't mean she can't be scared of other dogs. Are you sure you are telling us the truth?" Jivika asks standing in front Meghna who immediately backs away feeling too intimidating by Jivika's extremely calm yet dangerous presence.

"Yes, I am sure." Meghna replies while clearing her throat.

"Then, I guess let her wake up and then she will tell exactly what happened. For now, I am taking my leave." The doctor says and walks out of the room while Shivansh follows her to see her off.

Kavyansh then sits beside Varenya and holds her hand while Kiyansh lies down on the other side wrapping his arm around his mother. Meanwhile, the family members leave the room understanding the gravity of the situation.

"Ansh, has it ever happened that your Mumma got scared because of dogs?" Kavyansh asks his son who makes a thinking face and then suddenly his eyes widen.

"Yes, Papa. I remember that Varu got very scared when two unknown dogs entered inside the house gate and Mishti started barking at them loudly from inside the house. Mishti was only three months old at that time I guess but the other two dogs were very big. That time too Varu fainted while scratching near her ears." Kiyansh replies and instantly Kavyansh starts checking Varenya's ears to see if there is still any mark available or not.

A few tiny faded marks are visible on Varenya's ears which is clearly showing that whatever Kiyansh is saying is true. But what Kavyansh is finding odd that Varenya has never been scared of dogs because he knows her yet if she is getting scared of dog barks then it means this may be related to her parents death as well. Just then Kavyansh too remembers how Varenya got scared when she met Hulk and Shardul for the first as they started barking loudly. So, maybe again today they have barked loudly which may have made Varenya to faint.

With that thought in mind, Kavyansh gets up from the bed and comes to the balcony that's attached to his room to call Dr. Bhavya. A few rings later when Dr. Bhavya picks up the call, Kavyansh describes everything to her and in response she tells him to give the prescribed medicine to Varenya after she wakes up. She also says that she will be there to check on Varenya, till then Varenya should stay away from the dogs or no barking should be done in front of her. After disconnecting the call to Dr. Bhavya, Kavyansh dials Basheer's number who instantly picks up the call.

"Yes, Sir?" Basheer asks.

"Have you checked the photographs? Do they look photoshopped or AI generated?" Kavyansh asks.

"Unfortunately they are real, Sir." Basheer replies making Kavyansh to close his eyes for a brief second before he opens them again.

"So, it means they haven't died in house fire. Instead they are murdered and Varenya is the witness." Kavyansh says while hitting the railing roughly in anger.

"Not only they but some of their colleagues are murdered as well." Basheer remarks making Kavyansh's eyes widen.

"What are you talking about, Basheer?" Kavyansh asks wanting to confirm if he is hearing correct or not.

"Sir, I just got the comfirm information that Varenya Ma'am's parents' three colleagues have died six years ago in house fire. But the real information is that those death are the results of murder. Two colleges of Varenya Ma'am's father and one colleague of Varenya Ma'am's mother is murdered because they refused to open their mouths about the Mukherjee's. Although, that's all I have learnt till now but soon I will have full information about this matter." Basheer replies while Kavyansh wonders just how much is left to be uncovered.

"Okay, I will wait. By the way, I am sending you a clip of today's CCTV footage from my company. Someone arrived in the company as a writer and left the envelope containing the photographs to the head of the editing department. The envelope was kept between two files so the head of editing department didn't see it and left the files in my cabin. I want you to find out about the person who has come as a writer to deliver the envelope." Kavyansh orders.

"As you say, Sir." Basheer replies and disconnects the call.

"You can kill us but we won't tell you anything."

"We won't let you harm out daughter."

"We have kept her safe for so many years and if needed we will give our lives to keep her safe forever."

"Aah! No, don't do it!"

"You are hurting him!"

"She has cynophobia! Please don't let the dogs come in front of her!"

"Noooooooooooooo!"

"Maa! Baba!" Varenya screams loudly while tears stream down her face. She tries to take breathe but it seems her throat is getting hold up by someone tightly. She starts gasping not being able to stop the voices calling out for help in her mind making her head hurt badly. She then starts scratching her ears to block the voices but nothing is working.

"Lotus!" Kavyansh calls out loudly after he comes out of the washroom and notices Varenya sitting on the bed with her hands over her ears.

"Baby, don't scratch your ears. You are hurting yourself." Kavyansh says rushing towards the bed and tries to hold Varenya's hands who backs away from him.

"No, no, no! Stay away! Varu needs to stop the voices! They are hurting Varu's head." Varenya replies scratching her ears more making it starts to bleed which makes Kavyansh more worried.

"I know that and that's why I am telling you to listen to me. Come to me and I will make the voices go away." Kavyansh says very gently although he badly wants to know what voices his Lotus is hearing. But right now, his priority is to handle Varenya calmly and later he can ask her about the voices.

Varenya looks at Kavyansh with fearful eyes which breaks Kavyansh's heart. But still he gives her a small smile while opening his arms. Thankfully Varenya crawls towards him and settles on his lap. Kavyansh then holds Varenya's hands softly and makes her let go off her ears just to see that she has badly scratch her ears. But Kavyansh stays quite and starts blowing air on the small cuts which makes Varenya to feel better.

Varenya puts her head on Kavyansh's chest feeling a sudden exhausting feeling wash over her. Kavyansh too notices the change in Varenya's body language so he wraps his arms around her while a small sign leave his lips.

"Are you feeling better now?" Kavyansh asks softly.

"Yes but Varu wants to stay like this with Mister Prince." Varenya replies snuggling closer to Kavyansh liking how he is making her feel safest.

"Then you can stay like this forever." Kavyansh says kissing the top of Varenya's head. While Varenya stays on Kavyansh's lap, Kavyansh sends a text to his mother telling her to bring juice mixing the medicine.

Ten minutes later, Aaradhya arrives in the room and seeing her Varenya makes grabby hands to which Aaradhya smiles. Aaradhya then sits across from where Kavyansh is sitting and opens her arms for Varenya who gets off from Kavyansh's lap before lying her head on Aaradhya's lap.

"Varu, I have brought your favourite juice. Come on drink it like a good girl and then I will give you a chocolate." Aaradhya says caressing Varenya's head gently who shakes her head in response.

"Varu only wants chocolate from Adi Uncle. Where is Adi Uncle?" Varenya asks making Kavyansh and Aaradhya to look at each other because they too don't know where Adwait has gone without informing them.

"Adi Uncle has gone to buy more chocolates for you but before going, he has left one chocolate which I will give you after you finish the juice." Aaradhya replies and this time Varenya nods her head in response.

"I will go and get the first-aid box." Kavyansh remarks and gets up from the bed before he walks inside the closet.

Meanwhile, Aaradhya makes Varenya drink the juice after she sits down. Soon, Kavyansh arrives from the closet holding the first-aid box. He then sits beside Varenya who is now playing with Aaradhya's fingers while Aaradhya is telling a childhood story of Kaanha to distract Varenya from getting her cuts clean.

Sometimes later when Kavyansh is done putting the ointment, Varenya looks at him with a big pout on her lips. So, Kavyansh raises his eyebrow in response as if asking her what happened.

"Varu is not dum-dum in head, Mister Prince. Varu knows that Mister Prince's Mumma told story to Varu so that Mister Prince could treat Varu's ouchie." Varenya remarks making Aaradhya chuckles while Kavyansh looks perplexed to see the sudden change in Varenya's nature. A few minutes ago she was crying and now she is back to her sassy mood.

"Yes, of course Varu can never be dumb. Being dumb is my job, right?" Kavyansh asks to which Varenya nods her head in response with a cheeky smile on her face.

"Varu, do you want to go downstairs with me? Or do you want to sleep for some more time?" Aaradhya asks trying Varenya's hair with a clutcher in a bun.

"Varu will go with Mister Prince's Mumma. Varu wants to eat Dudh Puli and watch cartoon with Daddu." Varenya replies after thinking for sometime.

"Okay then let's go." Aaradhya says standing up and holds out her hand which Varenya takes.

"Kavyansh, should I send your tea here?" Aaradhya asks her son.

"I will come downstairs after changing my clothes." Kavyansh replies as he hasn't changed out of his office attire yet.

"Mister Prince, come fast fast or Varu will finish all the Dudh Puli." Varenya says pointing her finger at Kavyansh who nods his head in response with a small smile.

"Whatever you say, my lady." Kavyansh replies putting his right hand over the left side of chest and bows his head a little dramatically making Varenya giggle.

It's been a week since Varenya fainted hearing dog barks and Dr. Bhavya along with Samarth has also confirmed that this is related to her past. However, everyone is keeping quiet because apparently it will take a few more weeks for Ritika to gather every single thing.

On the other hand, Shivansh has recieved a similar note like Kavyansh but the man who delivered the note is vanished like he doesn't even exist. So, Shivansh has allocated more security around all the members of the family. Not only that, it has been decided that till things get sort out Varenya or Kiyansh won't leave the palace. Even new CCTV cameras has been installed inside and outside the palace which is only known to Kavyansh, Shivansh, Jivika, Ritika and Adwait. Because no one wants to take any chance or risk with the safety of Varenya and Kiyansh.

Currently, Ritika and Kavyansh are sitting on the swing while Varenya and Kiyansh are playing in the garden as the dogs are playfully chasing them. Ritika is telling Kavyansh about what she has learnt from Varenya's old neighbours and surprisingly Kavyansh doesn't have any idea about the things he is hearing.

"Are you sure it's all true, Princess?" Kavyansh asks looking worried.

"I am hundred percent sure, Bhaiya. Not only that, Meghna Aunty may not be the wrong person because her track record is completely clean." Ritika replies.

"Then why is she hiding things? Take example of Lotus getting nightmares sometimes but when Samarth asked her she directly denied." Kavyansh says looking at his sister.

"What I have understood till now that Meghna Aunty must be trying to protect Varenya Bhabhi from the murderers of her parents. I have checked the call and messages details of Meghna Aunty but there is nothing suspicious. She has only called her old neighbours and her customers in West Bengal with whom she used to do business. Yet, I have asked Lakshay to collect all the details about the people whom Aunty has contacted till now." Ritika replies looking at where the her Bhabhi and nephew are having fun.

"Bhaiya, why do you call Bhabhi as Lotus?" Ritika asks out of curiosity because of the uniqueness of the nickname.

"Because her arrival in my life is just like the blooming of Lotus flower in between dirt and mud. Unknown to her, she has cleared all the pain and hurt inside me that I have been keeping hidden behind my smile." Kavyansh replies looking at his wife who is busy playing with their son without any care in the world.

Varenya has indeed cleared the pain and agony Kavyansh tried hard to conceal from everyone. When he first found out about his biological mother he completely shattered from inside, he fought with his stepmother and half-brother after getting manipulated by his biological mother. But when he realised his mistake, he completely lost himself and detached himself from his family thinking that he didn't deserve to stay with them. He left his rightful place of being the next King to his brother because he knew that he wasn't strong enough to look after anyone.

"I used to stay quiet minding my own business but this crazy girl came in my life like a whirlwind and changed it for better. She accepted me wholeheartedly without judging me for leaving my duty towards my family or the people of Rajasthan. She stood up in my support when someone tried to demean me by calling me a coward. She fought with them for me and you know what the best thing she did for me? She made me feel alive when I felt like giving up my life because of the inner suffocation I was suffering from." Kavyansh says while his eyes gets teary and a small smile appears on his face.

"You and Shivansh Bhaiya are raising my standards for my future husband. I mean how is it possible to love someone so much that you are ready to wait your whole life for them?" Ritika asks because she may be a great advocate but when it comes to love or romance she gets confused.

"You will understand everything when you fall in love with someone. By the way, do you have someone like that in your life yet or not?" Kavyansh asks ruffling Ritika's hair who playfully scowls at her older brother.

"I am currently dating my cases. Because I only find them interesting enough to share my precious time with them. But if I ever fall in love then I will directly tell you and Shivansh Bhaiya about it." Ritika replies with a smile.

"And what about Adwait? Won't you inform him?" Kavyansh asks.

"Scooby-Doo will be the very first person to know because I can't hide things from him." Ritika replies shrugging her shoulders while Kavyansh chuckles understanding something that even Ritika and Adwait doesn't understand yet.
