"What is Angel doing?" Varenya asks Jivika looking at the colourful design on the floor.

"I am making Rangoli for Dhanteras." Jivika replies while making a thin line to match the design.

"Oh." That's all Varenya says.

"Angel, why has the big house gotten ready?" Varenya asks referring to the decoration of the palace.

"Because day after tomorrow is Diwali." Jivika replies.

"What is Diwali?" Varenya asks sitting beside Jivika on the floor.

"Diwali is the festival of lights where we decorate our house with many things, we lights up Diyas, we perform Lakshmi-Ganesh puja, we eats different types of sweets & snacks and then we burst firecrackers." Jivika answers before looking at Varenya to see that she is looking deep in thought.

"What are you thinking about, Tai?" Jivika asks nudging Varenya on the arm softly.

"Maa keeps fast on Diwali because on Diwali Varu and Maa-Baba celebrates Kali Puja. Then Varu also celebrates Dev Diwali with Maa-Baba watching the Ganga Aarti." Varenya replies which makes Jivika curious to know more about Varenya's culture.

"Tai, do you remember how your Maa-Baba celebrate these festivals?" Jivika asks hoping that maybe this way Varenya will remember something from her past.

"Varu is a little baby so Varu doesn't remember." Varenya says fumbling with her fingers.

"It's alright, Tai. Come on let me help to make the Rangoli fast because then I will make Laddu and you'll help me in that too." Jivika remarks winking at Varenya and instantly Varenya's face lit up in happiness.

"Yes, Varu will make Laddu with Angel." Varenya says clapping her hands which makes Jivika giggles before she starts instructing Varenya on how to make Rangoli.

Meanwhile, Pratap and Abhinav are discussing with Raghuvendra about the upcoming anniversary party of the Rajput & Son's company which is the family business. The party was to be held a few months ago but due to some reason it had to be postponed. So, now it has been decided that one week after Diwali the party will be held.

"Papa, but what about Varenya and Kiyansh?" Abhinav asks while Pratap and Raghuvendra looks at him with confusion.

"What do you mean?" Raghuvendra asks his younger son.

"Papa, only Kiyansh is introduced in front of the media in person but not Varenya. All the family members attend the anniversary party of our company and if Varenya doesn't get to join then I am sure none of us will feel good." Abhinav replies making Raghuvendra and Pratap to nod their heads.

"But she will get scared between so many people in the party. Also, Kavyansh has restricted Varenya or Kiyansh to go out of the palace and I am sure there must be a big reason behind it." Pratap says.

"Hmm, that's also true. It's alright, they can attend the party next year and hopefully by that time Varenya will get better." Raghuvendra remarks making his sons to nod their heads in response.

"By the way, how is Eklavya doing?" Raghuvendra asks looking at Abhinav.

"He is doing good, Papa. Just last night I and his mother talked to him." Abhinav replies with a smile on his face.

"I still can't believe that our little Eklavya has gotten so big that he is now chasing his dream. I am sure he will achieve everything he has hoped for." Pratap says while Raghuvendra nods his head.

"After all he is a Rajput too and we Rajput don't blackout without achieving our goals. I just hope that now he will be more opened up about his emotions in front of everyone." Raghuvendra remarks with a sigh as Eklavya is an extremely introvert person who only likes to talk when necessary and mostly stays inside his room. However, he can talk for hours with his Jivika Bhabhi and now Kiyansh.

"Are you sure that it won't be risky to light Diyas for Diwali? I mean don't you think that Lotus may get scared seeing them." Kavyansh tells Samarth as they are discussing about the improvement in Varenya's condition.

"You yourself told me that Varenya is probably not afraid of the fire because you took her along with you to the kitchen when you made Jhalmuri for her. Then according to Shivansh, she stays in the kitchen whenever Jivika cooks something. Not only that, she follows Aaradhya aunty to the temple whenever Aunty perfoms evening prayer. So, to learn the truth we need to take a little risk. See if a person has a phobia of fire then that person won't be able to handle seeing even a small flame. So, we have to take the risk." Samarth replies making Kavyansh to let out a sigh. Because no matter what he doesn't want to take any risk when it involves his Lotus.

"And what if she gets triggered?" Kavyansh asks looking worried while Samarth rolls his eyes in response.

"Bro, this is not only suggested by me but also by Dr. Bhavya as well. Now, just calm down and do as I just told you to do." Samarth replies sternly when he notices that Kavyansh is going to protest again but seeing the stern look on his best friend's face, Kavyansh silently nods his head in agreement.

Just then Kavyansh's phone starts ringing so he walks near his desk and picks up the call after noticing that it's Basheer who is calling. He hears what Basheer has to say but suddenly his face hardens making Samarth alerts. Nearly after ten minutes Kavyansh cuts the call and looks at Samarth with a blank face.

"Wanna follow me?" Kavyansh asks in  a very calm tone yet it sends chill down Samarth's spine.

"Where?" Samarth asks looking confused.

"To meet the person who has the nerve to drop the envelope in my company." Kavyansh replies with a smirk and that's all Samarth needs to understand the sudden change in his best friend's mood.

"Let's go. It's been a long time since I have practiced boxing." Samarth says with a smile but there isn't any warm vibe in the smile. Instead, it's the smile which shows the different sides of him which is extremely threatening for his opponent.

Both of them walks out of the study and comes downstairs where they find Varenya chasing Adwait who is holding a big chocolate in his hand but isn't giving it to Varenya. Kavyansh and Samarth looks at each other before they shake their heads and leaves from there so that Varenya doesn't question them much. They walks out of the palace and gets inside Kavyansh's car.

Half an hour later, Kavyansh stops the car in front of a rundown building making Samarth a little confused. But he decides to stay quiet and see exactly what his best friend is doing here in this place.

Both of them gets out of the car and starts walking towards the building. Kavyansh takes out a small key out of his pocket and puts the key in a rustic looking lock which gets open with a single click. However it only opens the door that is visible from outside because Samarth gets surprised seeing a steel door which has a hand scanner on it. Kavyansh then puts his left hand on the scanner and instantly the door gets open revealing a long hallway where numerous men are standing in the side.

"What is it, Kavyansh?" Samarth asks looking at the men holding big riffles in their hands.

"My own hidden kingdom where I am the King and these are some of my soldiers." Kavyansh replies making Samarth stunned.

"Are you in mafia as well as Shivansh?" Samarth asks as he already knows about Shivansh being the Mafia King and Adwait being his second hand in command while Ritika being the right hand in command.

"I am not in mafia but I am not a saint either. I have made this army to protect my family, especially Shivansh who protects everyone. However, now I have a new priority along with it which is to protect my Lotus and our son." Kavyansh replies taking a left turn of the hallway and stops in front of a door where two men are standing as guards who bow their heads in respect seeing their Boss.

"Open the door." Kavyansh orders making one of the men to open the door a key.

Kavyansh then walks inside the room followed by Samarth who looks totally surprised because never in his life he has seen Kavyansh to look this damn scary. Kavyansh looks at the man who is standing holding a hockey stick and smirks seeing the blood on it.

"Having fun, Basheer?" Kavyansh asks making Basheer to turn around revealing the man tied up in an iron chair which has sharp spikes all over it.

"How can I have fun beating a person who doesn't even have enough meat in his body? It's all bones which will break if I beat him a little hard." Basheer replies throwing the hockey stick on the floor making Kavyansh smirks.

"Then how about I take the lead?" Kavyansh asks taking off his watch and handling it to Samarth.

"Sure thing, Sir. Also, he hasn't revealed anything yet." Basheer replies making Kavyansh to nod his head in response.

"He will for sure." By saying this Kavyansh picks up a surgical scissor from the table which has different kinds of torturing tools.

Disturbing Scenes Ahead:

Kavyansh then walks near the tied up man and looks at him from head to toe with disgust. Because the man is literally skin and bones so God knows why anyone would send this kind of man to do any shaddy kind of work. Not only that, the man is smelling so bad as if he hasn't taken any bath.

"Are you going to open your mouth or do you really want to be tortured?" Kavyansh asks making the man to look at him with sick smile showing his bleeding teeth.

"You can kill me which I know you won't do but I will never reveal anything. I am loyal to my Bo-Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" The man screams loudly as Kavyansh impales the scissor in the right shoulder of the man not letting him complete his sentence.

"If you are loyal to your Boss then let me tell you I am more loyal to my wife. So, you have to reveal everything by hook or by crook." Kavyansh says twisting the scissor with more force making blood oozing out of the cut while the man keeps on screaming in pain.

Suddenly the man's eyes widen when Kavyansh picks up a small bottle of acid from the table and pours the acid on the cut after without removing the scissor making the man to pees on his pants instantly.
