"Mummy, how is Mishu doing now?" Nishtha asks her mother on the phone as she walks inside her cabin.
"She is sleeping but her face is looking too pale. I am telling you that we should change the doctor because the one who is currently treating Mishka isn't doing her job well." Divya replies making Nishtha to feel like a failure because no matter how hard she is trying, she isn't able to get her daughter a good treatment or doctor.
"Mummy, I understand your concern and believe me I also want to take Mishu to a good doctor. But how can I do that? Right now we are not in a position to take her to any other doctor." Nishtha says rubbing her forehead.
"Aarav was saying whether we are giving wrong medicines to Mishka or is the doctor prescribing the wrong medicine. Because it's been nearly two years that we have changed three doctors and yet no improvement can be seen in the little girl. One doctor says that there is some problem in her brain. Another doctor says that she will get well with time while the current doctor is saying that if we keep giving her prescribed medicines, then she will get well. But this is not happening at all. On the contrary, my grandchild's health is getting worse and worse." Divya says making Nishtha close her eyes.
"Give me some time. I can't take another decision in a hurry which may not be correct. First, I need to take permission from Kavyansh Sir for the leave and only then I will think about changing Mishu's doctor. Mummy, I will call you later." By saying this Nishtha cuts the call and takes a deep breath.
Nishtha spends maximum part of her salary on her daughter's treatment, but even after spending so much, no doctor has been able to figure out what the problem is with little Mishka. Usually by 2 years, any kid starts walking or talking. But Mishka hasn't shown any progress and that's why Nishtha has consulted with three doctors till now. Yet, each one of the doctors have given different reasons for the little girl's condition.
Nishtha looks at her desk where a small photo frame of her daughter is situated. She picks up the frame and runs her fingers over the photo as her eyes wells up in tears. The only good thing that has ever happened to Nishtha is the arrival of her little girl. But that too with so many difficulties that at one point Nishtha started thinking if she or her daughter would be alive to see the other day.
"I am sorry, my Baby. Mumma is not able to make things better for you but I am really trying my best. I know you don't like staying away from me so this time when I come there, I will bring you with me so that we both can stay together." Nishtha says wiping her tears before kissing the photo gently.
Nishtha keeps the frame back on her desk and gets into work. Because the sooner she completes her work the sooner she can get back to her apartment.
On the other hand, Samarth has walks inside the Rathore palace where he is staying as per Kavyansh's wish. He notices that Kiyansh, Kavyansh and Varenya's five year old son is sitting alone in the living room. So, he decides to see what's going on with the little boy.
"What are you thinking about, little one?" Samarth asks sitting beside Kiyansh.
"Sam Uncle, if Mumma gets her memory back will she remember me?" Kiyansh asks looking at Samarth who looks a little hesitate to reply.
"I am sorry but I can't give you any proper answer of your question. Because only after your Mumma gets better we can learn what she remembers and she isn't. But I think that she can't forget her favourite Kiwi." Samarth replies tickling Kiyansh on his stomach who laughs in response while trying to get away from his uncle.
"Teacher Uncle!" They hear Varenya's voice who rushes there and starts beating Samarth with her soft toy thinking that he is hurting her Kiwi aka Kiyansh.
"Ow! Ow! Why are you beating me?" Samarth asks getting up from the couch.
"Bad Teacher Uncle hurts Varu's Kiwi." Varenya replies running behind Samarth who has made a run for his life because by now everyone has learnt how stubborn and possesive Varenya is for her loved ones.
However, Samarth has to stop running when his phone starts ringing. So, he shows his palm to Varenya indicating her to stop running who thankfully listen to him. Samarth then takes out his phone to see that it's his father who is calling.
"Kive ae puttar?" Balbir Singh, Samarth's father asks.
(How are you son?)
"Main te vadiya Papaji. Tusi daso?" Samarth asks making Varenya confused as she doesn't understand the language he is speaking.
(I am doing good. How are you?)
"Main vi vadiya bas teri Maa bakbak karni todhi katt kar dave pher mere kan vi vadiya ho jaane." Balbir replies from the other side while Samarth chuckles.
(I am fine. If your mother's chatter reduces a bit, then my ears will also remain safe.)
"Je meri Mumma ne bolna katt kar ditta pher tusi bolna ki meri vohti badal gayi." Samarth remarks in a teasing tone knowing well that his father can't stay without hearing his mother's nonstop talking.
(If my Mumma stops talking then you yourself will say that my wife has changed.)
"Very funny. Now tell me when are you coming here? Your mother and sister are missing you." Balbir says making Samarth smile.
"Tell them that I will be there very soon. But not right now as I have some important works to complete." Samarth replies as his mind goes to the amber eyed beauty who has been living inside his head since he has mer her.
"Okay, as you say. Then I will call you later at night because I need to look after your niece and nephew." Balbir says while Samarth chuckles.
"So, Mannu Di again ditch the kids with you?" Samarth asks as he already knows how his elder sister loves to irritate their father who isn't a patient person to babysit.
"What more can she do? She knows that I can't handle kids yet she will force me to look after her kids." Balbir whines while Samarth starts laughing loudly.
"They are your grandkids, Papaji. You aren't able to handle them yet you want me to get married and give you another grandkid." Samarth jokes.
"That doesn't mean you don't have to give me a grandkid. I don't care how bad I am with kids but I do know that you are awesome with kids. So, get married and give me another grandkid." Balbir orders and instantly Samarth's mind think about Nishtha again making him surprised. Because earlier whenever his parents used to talk about his marriage or kids he used to get irritated but this is not happening today. Instead, his mind is wondering around his best friend's PA who can't even stand him.
"Son, what are you thinking about?" Balbir asks making Samarth to realise that he hasn't replied to his father's earlier words.
"Papaji, I will call you at night. I need to complete my work. Bye." Samarth replies and after his father bid him bye, he disconnects the call.
"Lying is bad, Teacher Uncle. Varu knows Teacher Uncle don't have any work." Varenya says who has waiting patiently for Samarth to complete his conversation.
"When did I lie?" Samarth asks looking confused.
"Teacher Uncle has already given Varu and Kiwi class. So, Teacher Uncle don't have any work left to do." Varenya replies making Samarth to blink his eyes because Varenya isn't wrong either.
"I have a different work to complete." Samarth says clearing his throat.
"What?" Varenya asks playing with the ears of her rabbit soft toy.
"I need to give you medicine." Samarth replies and that's all take for Varenya to run away from there because she hates medicine.
"This girl can forget anything but haven't forgotten about observing small things." Samarth says to himself while shaking his head and goes away from there. Because now he has to reach in front of AV Publishing House as it's time for Nishtha to leave the company.

A few days have passed and thankfully Nishtha has gotten two weeks leave. So, right now she is on the way to her family house in Delhi. She has decided to have a talk with Mishka's doctor for one more time and if things don't look good then she will change the doctor.
Suddenly her phone starts ringing so she takes out her phone from her purse and notices that it's her best friend who is calling. So, she instantly picks up the call and starts talking.
"Where are you now?" Ritika Singh Rathore, Nishtha's best friend asks.
"I am in cab right now. I have come to Delhi." Nishtha replies biting her lips getting ready to be scolded.
"Wow, that so great. So, may I know when you are going to tell me about your sudden travel plan?" Ritika asks in a sarcastic tone.
"You are already busy with so many things so I thought I shouldn't disturb you." Nishtha replies.
"I thought we are best friends and we share everything with each other. But I guess the friendship is only important from my side because you don't think give any importance to this friendship." Ritika remarks with a huff while Nishtha feels bad because she understands the reason behind Ritika's anger.
"I am really sorry, Ritu. Actually, I suddenly got a call from Mummy that Mishka's health isn't well so I have to come here before the decided time. Also, you told me that you are going to Varanasi for your work so I thought that I would let you know after we meet." Nishtha says with a sigh.
"What happened to my pumpkin?" Ritika asks getting worried.
"The new doctor's medicines aren't working on her. A few days ago she badly vomited right after taking the medicine. So, I have decided to bring her with me to Jodhpur. Also, my parents have decided to sell the house so if everything goes well then they will accompany me to Jodhpur as well." Nishtha replies.
"You don't worry. I am sure everything will be alright. By the way, send me all the prescription and test reports of Pumpkin. I will send them to our family doctor to see if she can help. Not only that, Kavyansh Bhaiya's best friend is also a great Psychologist. I will share the details with him too." Ritika says making Nishtha to frown as she understands about whom Ritika is talking about.
"You just send the details to your family doctor, no need to send them to someone else." Nishtha replies.
"Girl, don't underestimate Samarth Bhai. He may joke around but he is extremely talented when it comes to his profession. So, I think it won't be a bad idea to take help from him." Ritika says making Nishtha sighs.
"Okay then I will send you the details tonight." Nishtha replies with a small smile.
Nishtha disconnects the call as the cab has stopped in front of her parents' house. So, she gets out and pays the driver after taking out her luggage along with her. She then walks towards the gate and opens it to see that her mother is sitting outside holding little Mishka on her lap.
Hearing the sound of the gate being opened, Divya looks towards there and smiles seeing her elder daughter. But the biggest smile is displaying on Mishka's face who is trying to get down from her Nani's lap to reach her mother.
"Mishu!" Nishtha calls out running towards her daughter who is already flapping her little arms in excitement.
Nishtha immediately picks up her daughter in her arms and twirls around making Mishka giggles in happiness. Mishka then wraps her hands around her mother's neck and puts her hand on the shoulder making Nishtha to smile.
"My sweet baby. Mumma is finally here." Nishtha says kissing the side of her daughter's head who snuggles closer as if to feel her mother's warmth.
"How was the journey?" Divya asks getting up from the chair where she is sitting.
"It was good. By the way, where is Jiya?" Nishtha asks not seeing her younger sister who should have come running out by now.
"She will come a little late as her students have their exams nearby. So, she is giving extra classes to them." Divya replies making Nishtha to nod her head.
"Oh okay. Mummy I will get fresh and then I will talk to you." Nishtha says as she likes to take shower after travelling.
"Of course and till then I will make tea for you." Divya replies and then looks at Mishka who is still holding onto her mother tightly.
"Mishka, Mumma needs to change her clothes. Come to Nani, Bachcha." Divya says and goes to take Mishka. But the little one only holds her mother more tightly making Nishtha sighs in response.
"It's alright, Mummy. I will keep her on the bed and then take a shower." By saying this Nishtha walks inside the house holding her daughter in one hand and her luggage in another hand.
