Nishtha arrives at her house and directly goes to her parents room to find her parents. Seeing her, her mother stops folding clothes and smiles at her.
"Have you brought all the things?" Divya asks looking at her daughter.
But instead of replying to her mother, Nishtha stands in front of her father who is sitting on the bed as he is reading a newspaper. Noticing Nishtha, Jatin Chandwani looks up from the paper and stares at his daughter with a raised brow.
"With whom have you fixed my marriage, Papa?" Nishtha asks making both Divya and Jatin shocked because they weren't planning to tell her anything so soon.
"Marriage? What are you talking about? I haven't fixed your marriage, Nishtha." Jatin replies looking clueless.
"Really? Then why are you so desperate to sell this house?" Nishtha asks folding her hands around her chest.
"Because my business isn't going well to support the needs of our family." Jatin replies making Nishtha scoff.
"Stop lying, Papa. Jiya has told me everything about your friend's son who is ready to marry me with a demand that I can't reveal about my daughter in front of their relatives. Not only that, you have accepted this demand as well." Nishtha remarks angrily as her voice raise.
"Nishtha! How can you talk to your father in such tone? Have you forgotten about the morals we taught you?" Divya asks shaking Nishtha's arm who shoves her mother's hand away.
"You shouldn't talk about morals, Mummy. Because both of you don't have any morals in you otherwise you wouldn't have agreed to separate my daughter from me." Nishtha snaps glaring at her mother whose eyes widen in surprise because this is the first time Nishtha is talking like this with her.
"Nishtha!" Jatin remarks while slapping Nishtha harshly who doesn't even flinch because this is not new. But she holds her father's hand when he again goes to slap her.
"Do you know anything else other than hitting me, Papa?" Nishtha asks looking her father directly in the eyes knowing well how her father doesn't like it.
"Lower your eyes, Nishtha. Don't forget that I am your father and you can't talk to me in this way." Jatin replies in a stern tone snatching his hand out of his daughter's hold.
"Right now I am not here as anyone's daughter. I have come here to talk to you as Mishka's mother." Nishtha remarks as the anger inside her has been reaching a different level second by second.
"So now you remember that you are a mother. Then why have you kept your daughter here? If you are so concerned about your daughter and can't stay away from her then why haven't you taken her along with you?" Jatin asks making Nishtha to realise that whatever Jiya has told her is absolutely correct.
"Just because I am staying at a different place for my work you have assumed that I don't care about my daughter and that's why you have agreed to the so called demand of your friend. Am I right?" Nishtha retorts as she is feeling so disappointed with the man in front of her that she doesn't even want to acknowledge him as her father anymore.
"What have I done wrong with accepting this demand? Mishka is already staying with us so I don't see any problem in it. Atleast they will let you meet her twice a month which is more than enough. So, stop making it a big deal." Jatin replies not caring that he is making the situation worse.
"Who gave you the right to take such a big decision about my life alone?" Nishtha asks looking at her father with a blank expression.
"I am your father and I have every right to decide what's best for you." Jatin replies and hearing this Nishtha starts clapping her hands while her parents look at her with confusion.
"Nishtha, what's wrong with you?" Divya asks trying to stop Nishtha from clapping but that only makes Nishtha clap more loudly and harshly which starts hurting her, nor that she cares.
"I didn't know that you think so well about me. I mean, you are correct that as my father you have every right to think what's best for me. But may I know what right do you have to take decision about my daughter? I mean, before you having any right on her I have the most right over her. So, how come you have decided to separate my daughter from me without my permission?" Nishtha asks glaring at her father who taken aback by the sudden shift in her expression.
Divya goes to say something but Nishtha shows her palm stopping her. Because she has understood what she needs to know. Her parents haven't changed a bit, especially her father who still think that only he knows what best for his children. He doesn't care if his decision will make his children happy or not. He only cares about what he wants and to make it happen he can go to any extent.
"I am going back to Jodhpur and I am taking my daughter with me." By saying this Nishtha walks out of her parents room not giving an ear to her mother's nonstop insistence.
Nishtha arrives at her room where Jiya is playing with Mishka. Nishtha looks at her daughter who smiles brightly seeing her mother and extends her little arms wanting to be picked up. Nishtha quickly picks up her daughter in her arms and hugs her tightly while kissing the top of her head.
"Mumma will take you away from here, Mishu. I won't let you grow up in such household where only parents can take every descision. I will not let you face the things I have faced." Nishtha mumbles running her hand on Mishka's back.
"Di, take me with you please. I don't want to stay here anymore." Jiya says looking at her sister hopefully.
"You are still underage, Betu. Otherwise I would have taken you with me. But by any chance if you think you can't handle staying here, then inform me and I will do everything in my power to take you away from here." Nishtha replies making Jiya to look down as tears brim her eyes.
"Don't cry, Jiya." Nishtha says wrapping her hand around her sister's shoulder who breaks down in tears.
"I will miss you and Mishu. Please don't forget to call me and send me Mishu's photo, video." Jiya replies looking at Nishtha who nods her head in response.
Nishtha then puts Mishka on the bed and starts packing the needed things. Most of her clothes are still in the luggage so she only needs to pack Mishka's clothes and other important things. It takes her nearly twenty minutes to complete the packing and then she quickly books the train ticket to Jodhpur. She then changes Mishka's outfit as well as her own and keeps those clothes inside the luggage as well packed in a different bag.
Nishtha along with Jiya comes out of her room as Jiya insists on holding Mishka in her arms for a little more time. Meanwhile, their parents too arrive in the Varanda and gets surprised to see the packed luggage.
"What's all this? Have you gone out of your mind, Nishtha?" Divya asks making Nishtha to roll her eyes.
"I am doing what I have told you. I am leaving this house with my daughter." Nishtha replies taking Mishka in her arms.
"You can't leave like that. The groom's family is coming to see you tomorrow and I have given them my word about the marriage." Jatin remarks angrily.
"That's your problem, not mine. So, handle it by yourself which I am sure you'll do. Because if you can decide with whom I should marry then you can also decline them." By saying this Nishtha opens the gate of the house and goes to walk away. But stops in her track hearing her father's words.
"You are having so much problem in marrying the boy chosen by me and you had chosen a very good boy for yourself, right? The same boy for whom you left the house, the same boy who cheated on you not caring that you are carrying his child." Jatin remarks from behind not carring if his words hurt Nishtha.
"I have learned from my mistake that my life is not dependent on anyone. I am an independent person and I can take of myself as well as my daughter." Nishtha replies without looking back and walks out of the gate followed by Jiya who helps her carrying out the luggages.
Nishtha gets inside the cab with Mishka and bids goodbye to Jiya who has tears in her eyes. Nishtha's heart breaks seeing her sister because Jiya is nothing short of a daughter to her. But she also understands that she can't take Jiya along with her which she badly wants to do.
"Take care of yourself, okay?" Nishtha asks gently.
"I will and you too." Jiya replies wiping her tears.
Nishtha nods her head and then the cab drives away from there. Nishtha looks at her daughter who is playing with her favourite soft toy not knowing the changes are awaiting for her.

After nearly twelve hours of journey Nishtha has reached Jodhpur and now she is on the way to her apartment. Thankfully, Mishka hasn't troubled much on the train or it would have not been possible for Nishtha to travel so easily with a toddler.
Nishtha pays the cab driver and gets out of the car holding Mishka in her arms. Seeing her, the watchman rushes towards her and helps her with the luggage. She thanks him after she gets inside the elevator for his help. But then she gets surprised after arriving in her flat noticing the packed boxes.
"Hey, Nishtha you came back early." Shreya, her flatmate remarks.
"Yes, I have some important work at the company. By the way, are you going somewhere?" Nishtha asks.
"I am shifting back to my hometown." Shreya replies with a sigh.
"But why? I mean you didn't even inform me about you leaving." Nishtha says although they are not really good friends.
"I wasn't planning to leave. But my father's health condition has become worse and the doctor has said that he doesn't have much time to live. So, I just want to spend whatever time I can with him." Shreya replies with a sad smile while Nishtha nods her head in response.
"You are doing the correct thing. Stay with him and make good memories." Nishtha says softly as she knows from before that Shreya's father is battling lung cancer for last few years.
"Is that your daughter?" Shreya asks noticing Mishka who is sleeping peacefully in her mother's arms.
"Yes." Nishtha replies looking down at her arms with a genuine smile on her face.
"Awe she is so cute." Shreya remarks wanting to pinch the chubby cheeks of the little girl. But she doesn't as it can wake up the little one.
"Okay, then I will take my leave. My cab has arrived." Shreya says looking at her phone as she just got the notification.
"Have a safe journey and let me know after you arrive." Nishtha says making Shreya to nod her head.
Soon a few men take out all the boxes and Shreya too leaves the apartment. Meanwhile, Nishtha looks at the nearly empty places as Shreya used to have more things than her.
"No problem. Now I will decorate the flat as the way I want." Nishtha thinks with a shrug of her shoulders and goes into her room.
Nishtha puts Mishka in the middle of the bed and keeps pillows around her so that she doesn't roll out of the bed. Nishtha then takes a quick shower and changes into some fresh clothes. By the time she is done, Mishka has woken up and now sitting on the bed looking around the room with curiosity.
"Mishu, aap itni jaldi uth bhi gaye nini se." Nishtha coos at her daughter who giggles and then puts her fist in her mouth.
(Mishu, you woke up so early from sleep.)
"Nahi, aise haath muh mein nahi dete." Nishtha says picking up Mishka in her arms and starts tickling her which makes her burst into a fit of giggles.
(No, we shouldn't put our hand inside our mouth.)
Nishtha keeps on tickling Mishka and while doing that, she walks out of the room. She then plays Mishka's favourite song in the phone and connects the phone with the speaker.
"Now, Mumma and Mishu will dance." Saying this Nishtha starts swaying with the rhythm of the music holding while Mishka tries to imitate her mother.
Unknown to them, someone is looking at the mother-daughter duo from afar and that someone is none other than Samarth who has bought the flat in the opposite building so that he can keep an eye on Nishtha and her daughter. He isn't a bit guilty that he has read the file given by the private investigator. Because now his want to stay close to Nishtha and her daughter has become more obsessive. He has even hired two men to follow Nishtha's every move when she was in Delhi and that's why he so easily got to know about her return.
"You both are what I have been missing in my life all these years. But not anymore because sooner than later you'll be with me where you belong." Samarth says looking at the mother-daughter from the balcony across from Nishtha's flat.
